The Trust's page does not say how parking is charged.
No car park at the church. Limerick City and County Council names King's Castle Car Park off Sheares Street as the start of the Kilmallock Looped Walk, without a tariff; from it walk by Sarsfield Street and Orr Street to the path into the graveyard, about 300 m. No bus service is named.
Driving pin: the path entrance on Orr Street, 50 m south of OPW's own pin on the church; Orr Street is residential, so park at King's Castle Car Park.
Inside the walls of Kilmallock, the roofless Collegiate Church of Saints Peter and Paul was founded in the 13th century on the site of the seventh-century monastery of St Mocheallóg, abbot and bishop, and took its name from the college of clerics, rather than monks, who served it. The oldest thing here is the base of an early round tower built into the west end, its lowest courses original and the rest raised in the 13th century and later. The church has a nave with wide aisles, a chancel lit by a five-light window of slender graduated lancets that OPW counts among the most beautiful in the country, a transept and a fine 13th-century doorway in the south wall. Almost destroyed by Cromwell's forces and by fire in 1935, it keeps carving of the 13th and 14th centuries. Reviewers spend half an hour among the tombs; entry from Orr Street is by a turnstile gate, so it is not suitable for wheelchairs.
An unguided open-air national monument in OPW's care with no staff and no facilities. OPW warns that care and caution should be kept throughout a visit to its unguided sites.
Entry from Orr Street by a path and a gate with a turnstile; not suitable for wheelchairs. The graveyard is still used for burials. No toilets.
Kilmallock Priory, a separate national monument across the River Loobagh, is about 420 m away on foot.
