Trust Quest currently lists 718 places in its National Trust collection, including National Trust for Scotland, from castles and historic houses to gardens, countryside and coast. This total excludes English Heritage places and those of the partner bodies its card opens, such as Cadw and Historic Scotland. Open the map to explore the places currently listed.
Is there a checklist of all National Trust properties?

Is Trust Quest free to use?
Yes, Trust Quest is completely free. Sign in to save your visited places, plan trips, and leave reviews and tips for other visitors.
Does Trust Quest include English Heritage locations?
Yes. Trust Quest lists nearly every English Heritage site you can visit, with opening times, prices and a passport of its own. A handful are not listed: sites that are closed, open only for guided tours, or where members pay for entry. The places an English Heritage card opens beyond England, from Cadw, Historic Scotland and Manx National Heritage, are in the same passport book, each with its own progress if you choose.
Why can’t I find an English Heritage location?
A few English Heritage sites are deliberately left out: places that are closed, open only for guided tours, or where members pay for entry. If a place you can visit is missing, tell us through the support page, and check the official English Heritage website for visitor information in the meantime.
Does Trust Quest include Cadw, Historic Scotland, OPW Heritage Ireland and Manx National Heritage places?
Yes. An English Heritage card also opens places beyond England, so Trust Quest lists them in the English Heritage passport book: 109 Cadw, 268 Historic Scotland, 146 OPW Heritage Ireland and 22 Manx National Heritage places so far. Cadw and Historic Scotland places are half price for members in their first year, then free. OPW Heritage Ireland and Manx National Heritage places are free for members. Each body can have its own progress and achievements in your passport.
Is Trust Quest affiliated with the National Trust or English Heritage?
No. Trust Quest is an independent, fan-made guide for planning and tracking your visits. We are not affiliated with the National Trust, English Heritage or any of the other heritage bodies whose places we list. For tickets and membership, visit the relevant organisation’s official website.
