Coney Island, Lough Neagh

Coney Island is a small wooded island in the southern reaches of Lough Neagh, the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles. The island has evidence of habitation dating back thousands of years including a round tower foundation and early Christian remains. Accessible by boat from Maghery, it offers a unique retreat with bird-rich wetlands and ancient woodland.
