Visitor centre open daily all year except 24 to 26 December and 31 December to 1 January: 09:30 to 17:30 until 4 October, 09:30 to 17:00 until 1 November, then 09:30 to 16:00 through the winter.
Free entry for National Trust members
This place is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, a separate charity. Under the INTO reciprocal visiting arrangement, National Trust members from England, Wales and Northern Ireland get free standard entry. Show your current membership card at admissions.

Free for everyone. The car park charge is waived for National Trust for Scotland members and, under the INTO reciprocal arrangement, National Trust members.
£4 for non-members
Car park beside the visitor centre, £4 per car for non-members, which also covers the visitor centre exhibition; free for National Trust for Scotland members and, under the INTO arrangement, National Trust members.
Cycle parking for six bikes at the top of the car park. No charge for coaches.
