Visitor centre open daily all year except 24 to 26 December and 31 December to 1 January; hours shorten to 09:30 to 17:00 from 5 October and 09:30 to 16:00 from 2 November.
Free entry for National Trust members
This place is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, a separate charity. Under the INTO reciprocal visiting arrangement, National Trust members from England, Wales and Northern Ireland get free standard entry. Show your current membership card at admissions.

£5 for non-members
Car park beside the visitor centre, £5 per car for non-members; free for National Trust for Scotland members and, under the INTO arrangement, National Trust members. It is small and extremely busy: only park in marked bays, arrive early, or come by bus or train.
