Strangford Lough is a large sea lough in County Down and one of the most important wildlife habitats in Europe, designated as a Marine Nature Reserve. The lough is home to vast populations of wading birds and wintering wildfowl, as well as seals and rare marine life. The National Trust manages several key access points around the lough's shores and islands.
