The Uffington White Horse is a highly stylised prehistoric hill figure, 110 metres long, cut into the chalk of the Berkshire Downs. Dating to the late Bronze Age around 3,000 years ago, it is the oldest chalk figure in Britain. The surrounding landscape includes the dramatic flat-topped Dragon Hill and the ancient earthwork of Uffington Castle.
