Free entry for National Trust members
This place is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, a separate charity. Under the INTO reciprocal visiting arrangement, National Trust members from England, Wales and Northern Ireland get free standard entry. Show your current membership card at admissions.
More information
Free to visit. The council ferries to Yell and Unst are charged separately.
The Trust's page does not say how parking is charged.
The Trust's parcels are scattered across Unst and Yell with no car park of their own; Halligarth wood is on the edge of Baltasound with room to pull in. The islands are reached by council car ferries from Toft to Ulsta (Yell) and Gutcher to Belmont (Unst). Hermaness has a NatureScot car park at the road end.
