This place is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, a separate charity. Under the INTO reciprocal visiting arrangement, National Trust members from England, Wales and Northern Ireland get free standard entry. Show your current membership card at admissions.

Car park beside the garden entrance, shared with the Loch Melfort Hotel, with a disabled space by the gate; the hotel side has 50kW and 7kW electric car chargers. West Coast Buses between Oban and Lochgilphead stop at the entrance drive.
