Coombe Hill is the highest viewpoint in the Chilterns, rising to 260 metres with sweeping views across the Aylesbury Vale to the distant Cotswolds. The summit is crowned by a Boer War memorial and surrounded by chalk grassland rich in wildflowers and butterflies. The hill is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers excellent walking along the Ridgeway National Trail.
