Flatford

Flatford is the heart of Constable Country, where John Constable painted some of his most famous works including The Hay Wain and Flatford Mill. The hamlet includes Flatford Mill, Bridge Cottage, and Willy Lott's House, all recognisable from Constable's paintings. The surrounding Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers beautiful riverside walks along the Stour.
