CalMac passenger ferry from Fionnphort on Mull, about 10 minutes; visitor cars are not permitted. Iona Abbey (Historic Environment Scotland), the nunnery, the Heritage Centre, shops and cafes are not run by the Trust.

This place is cared for by the National Trust for Scotland, a separate charity. Under the INTO reciprocal visiting arrangement, National Trust members from England, Wales and Northern Ireland get free standard entry. Show your current membership card at admissions.

Free to land. The CalMac passenger ferry from Fionnphort is charged separately, and Iona Abbey is run by Historic Environment Scotland with its own admission.
Arrive on foot, by bike or by public transport.
Visitor cars are not allowed on Iona. Park at Fionnphort on Mull (not the Trust's) and cross on the CalMac passenger ferry; from Oban take the ferry to Craignure and the West Coast Motors bus to Fionnphort. Toilets and an accessible toilet at the Fionnphort terminal, not run by the Trust.
