Leith Hill

Leith Hill is the highest point in south-east England at 294 metres, crowned by an 18th-century Gothic tower built by Richard Hull of Leith Hill Place. Climbing the tower takes visitors above 1,000 feet with far-reaching views across the Weald to the South Downs and, on clear days, to the English Channel. The surrounding estate includes ancient woodland, rhododendron walks, and Leith Hill Place, a house with connections to composer Ralph Vaughan Williams who grew up here.
