Open 12 March to 4 November 2026, daily 10am to 6pm, last admission 5.15pm; closed for the winter after 4 November, with the 2027 season unpublished. The house rooms are seen only on the guided tour, which runs every 30 minutes and lasts about 40 minutes; all-day tickets can be booked on OPW's Admit One site up to 28 days ahead or bought at reception. Free admission for everyone on the first Wednesday of each month in season.
The entrance is over cobbles and the tour climbs a spiral staircase and narrow stairs to the attic, with low doorways and no lift; the ground floor, with reception, accessible toilets, the audio-visual room, the exhibition and the courtyards, can be seen without the tour. No photographs inside; appropriate footwear advised; card payments accepted; no cafe or shop.
