Powis Castle and Garden

Powis Castle is a medieval fortress that has been continuously inhabited for over 700 years, rising above world-famous Italianate terraced gardens. The castle houses one of the finest collections of paintings, sculpture, furniture and textiles in Wales, alongside the Clive Museum of treasures from India. The terraces, originally laid out in the late 17th century, are among the finest in Britain.
