Stoneacre

Stoneacre is a half-timbered yeoman's house in the village of Otham near Maidstone, dating from the late 15th century. The house was sympathetically restored in the 1920s by Aymer Vallance, who incorporated architectural salvage from other historic buildings to create an authentic medieval interior. The cottage garden is planted in traditional style with herbaceous borders, roses and fruit trees.
