The Crown Bar is a magnificently preserved Victorian gin palace on Great Victoria Street in Belfast, and the most famous pub in Northern Ireland. Its ornate interior features carved woodwork, coloured glass, decorative tiles, and original gas lighting. The National Trust acquired the building in 1978 to protect this outstanding example of Victorian craftsmanship.
