Open 12 March to 4 November 2026, daily 10am to 6pm, last admission 5.15pm; closed for the winter after 4 November, with the 2027 season unpublished. The interior is seen by guided tour only, first come first served, twelve people at a time, so expect a wait in summer at this very busy site; bus groups of ten or more must pre-book. Free admission for everyone on the first Wednesday of each month in season.
Access is limited: the tour climbs the spiral staircase to the bedrooms and there is no lift, with a handrail to hold; a wheelchair-accessible toilet is listed. No indoor photography. Card payments accepted; no cafe or shop.
