Open all year during reasonable daylight hours; no admission charge. The wall stands in and around the public streets of the town. Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 1, accessible: pavements, the car park and grass strips beside the wall; do not climb on the monument, which has hidden drops. Public toilets in the Welsh Street car park and free accessible toilets by the tourist information centre in Castle Dell. Drones are not permitted.
Dogs: Cadw: 'Dogs welcome'. The wall is seen from public streets, the car park and grass verges; Cadw's general rule at its open-air sites is a short lead at all times.
