Dunseverick Castle stands as a dramatic ruin on a rocky headland overlooking the Atlantic on the north Antrim coast between the Giant's Causeway and Ballintoy. Once one of the oldest and most strongly fortified places in Ireland, its origins date back over 1,500 years. Only a single wall of the gatehouse remains, perched above the crashing waves.
