Giant's Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the north Antrim coast, famous for its 40,000 interlocking basalt columns formed by volcanic activity 60 million years ago. Legend attributes the columns to the giant Finn McCool who built a causeway to Scotland. The visitor centre tells the geological and mythological story of this extraordinary landscape.
