Portstewart Strand

Portstewart Strand is a magnificent two-mile stretch of golden sandy beach backed by dunes on the north coast near Portstewart. The dune system is an important nature reserve supporting over 450 plant species including several rare orchids. The beach is popular for swimming and surfing, and vehicles can drive directly onto the sand during summer months.
