Cadw's monastic east end is open 10am to 4pm all year, last admission 30 minutes before closing; closed 24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January. It is reached through the parish church, which the parish opens daily from about 9.30am and uses for a Sunday service at 9.30am. No admission charge; the parish sells a guidebook. Cadw's standing notice asks visitors to respect the privacy of the residents of Ewenny Priory house, which is private and not in Cadw's care; the house opens its gardens on a few days a year. Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 1, accessible: step-free into the church and a ramp to the rear leads to the transept with its burial slabs; a few thresholds and steps lie off the main route, a side door opens to the uneven graveyard, and the outer sections are dark and uneven. No toilets or facilities on site except an accessible toilet during services and events. Drones are not permitted.
Dogs: Vale Trail 10, the council-badged Ewenny and Spring Flowers walk whose spur visits the priory, asks for dogs on a lead because of livestock in the fields.
