Farnborough Hall is an elegant honey-coloured stone house set on a hilltop in Warwickshire, home to the Holbech family for over 300 years. The interior features outstanding 18th-century rococo plasterwork ceilings and the Holbech family's collection of paintings and sculpture acquired on the Grand Tour. The real treasure is the remarkable half-mile terrace walk designed in the 1740s, adorned with temples, an obelisk and a dramatic oval pavilion — one of the finest landscape terraces in England, offering sweeping views across the Warwickshire countryside.
