Goddards House and Garden

Goddards is an Arts and Crafts house in York designed by Walter Brierley, the leading architect of Edwardian Yorkshire, and built in 1927 as a home for retired Terry's chocolate factory workers. The house features Brierley's characteristic attention to craftsmanship and materials, with handsome interiors and a fine garden designed by George Dillistone. It later served as the headquarters of the National Trust in Yorkshire.
