Beningbrough Hall is an imposing Georgian baroque mansion near York, built in 1716 with stunning wood carvings and a dramatic two-storey great hall. The house displays over 100 portraits from the National Portrait Gallery collection. The surrounding gardens and parkland include a walled garden, an orchard, and a wilderness play area for children.
