Hailes Abbey

Hailes Abbey is a ruined 13th-century Cistercian abbey near Winchcombe in the Cotswolds. Founded in 1246, it became a major pilgrimage site after acquiring a phial said to contain the Holy Blood. The National Trust cares for the surrounding land while English Heritage manages the ruins.
