3.2 miles (5.12km), graded moderate, about 90 minutes. Circuit starting at the Kedleston Hall car park, grid reference SK310403. Slight inclines, woodland paths and rough walking, and not accessible with a manual wheelchair. The lakeside section is unsurfaced, so sturdy footwear is recommended after wet weather. Described as one of the best examples of an 18th-century circuit walk in the country, with views of the gardens and the back of the Hall.

1.7-mile circuit, usually 45 to 60 minutes, from the Kedleston Hall parkland. Follows the first part of the Adam-inspired circuit walk past the restored hermitage, with benches along the way. Part of the route crosses back through the parkland; wheelchair and pushchair users are advised instead to visit the hermitage and return down the same path.

Explores the north side of the lake and the parkland beyond it, taking in veteran oaks up to 1,000 years old, the Robert Adam bridge and the island, with wooden animal sculptures along the route.
