A mix of surfaced paths, stony tracks and pasture with some ascent and descent: hard surfaced for most of the way except beside the River Fowey where the path is earth and can be muddy, across grass pasture towards the swimming pool, and up a rough stony track to the ranger's yard. Challenging but manageable with an all-terrain mobility vehicle. Pay and display parking in the main Lanhydrock car park, free to National Trust members.

Lady's Walk is bumpy in places but taken downhill, with one short steep incline entering East Avenue; the route is manageable with an all-terrain mobility vehicle. Pay and display parking in the main car park, free to National Trust members.
