Little Moreton Hall

Little Moreton Hall is one of the finest examples of a timber-framed moated manor house in England, dating from the mid-15th century. The wonky black-and-white building, with its elaborate carved gables and long gallery, appears to defy gravity. A knot garden based on a 17th-century design and a small border garden surround the moat.
