Mow Cop Castle

Mow Cop Castle is a dramatic folly built in 1754 as a summerhouse and designed to look like a ruined medieval castle. Perched at 335 metres on the Cheshire-Staffordshire border, it offers spectacular views across the Cheshire Plain and is the birthplace of Primitive Methodism.
