1 mile (1.6km), easy, 20 to 30 minutes, 4 stages. Starts in the Italian Garden inside the garden, so it needs garden admission; address Grange Road, Biddulph, Staffordshire, ST8 7SD, three and a half miles south east of Congleton and seven miles north of Stoke-on-Trent, access from the A527 with the entrance on Grange Road. Parking is free, 50 yards away. Terrain is narrow gravel paths with over 400 steps and tunnels throughout, and the route includes steps, so some visitors may need help from a companion.
