The gravel car park is about 40 metres from the entrance across Lullingstone Lane. Toilets are in the car park. A roadside drop-off point is about 10 metres from the entrance.

Lullingstone Roman Villa reveals how a wealthy household developed over three centuries beside the Darent Valley. Begun around AD 100, the villa included a heated bath suite and an underground cult room decorated with paintings of water deities. Its surviving remains are protected inside a modern building, but conservation work currently limits access to the ruins themselves. Visitors can instead look down through a viewing window, meet volunteers and explore the temporary interpretation, with the main page explaining the changing arrangements. Recent reviewers particularly value the volunteers' knowledge when the usual route is unavailable. The temporary exhibition is upstairs without a lift, so contact the site before travelling if stairs present a difficulty. Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome under the published facilities policy. The official page also identifies the Lullingstone Loop, a local footpath route with views across the valley.
Current main-page notice (checked 4 October 2026): open days Thursday-Sunday 10am-5pm, and the site is fully closed from 8 to 12 October 2026. Free admission with an optional suggested £3 donation. The villa ruins remain inaccessible during conservation; viewing is through a window. The temporary exhibition is upstairs without a lift, overriding older access-page lift information. The operator advises visitors with the specified mould allergies or respiratory conditions to wait until the conservation work is complete; read its notice before visiting.
