Open all year during reasonable daylight hours; no admission charge. Natural Resources Wales may divert or close its trails for maintenance or in extreme weather, and Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 1, accessible: a level forest road with some loose stones to the tomb on the grass valley floor; the optional paths to Cathole Cave and Llethryd Tooth Cave are rough, uphill or muddy. No toilets. Drones are not permitted.
Dogs: Cadw: 'Dogs welcome'; an open-air, ground-level monument on Cadw's dog-friendly days out list for south-west and west Wales, which asks for dogs under control and on a short lead at all times.
