Trengwainton Garden is a lush subtropical paradise near Penzance, sheltered by ancient woodland and warmed by the Gulf Stream. The garden is renowned for its walled gardens featuring a series of small compartments originally built to grow exotic fruits and vegetables. Magnolias, camellias, tree ferns and rhododendrons thrive here, and many rare species were first grown in Britain at Trengwainton from seeds collected by plant hunters in the Himalayas and Burma.
