Winkworth Arboretum is a hillside woodland planted with over 1,000 different shrubs and trees from around the world. Created by Dr Wilfrid Fox in the early 20th century, the arboretum is renowned for its spectacular bluebell carpet in spring and vivid autumn foliage reflected in the lake. It covers 112 acres of the Surrey Hills.
