Anglesey Abbey is a Jacobean-style house built on the site of a 12th-century Augustinian priory, transformed by the 1st Lord Fairhaven into a treasure house. The house contains an outstanding collection of paintings, furniture, and clocks. The 114-acre garden is famous for its winter garden, one of the finest in England, along with its dahlia garden and sweeping avenues.
