Blakeney Point

Blakeney Point is a four-mile shingle spit extending into the North Sea off the Norfolk coast, one of the finest examples of a coastal spit in Britain. The nature reserve is home to breeding colonies of common and grey seals, and in summer hosts one of the largest tern colonies in England. The shifting shingle landscape and salt marshes support a remarkable diversity of coastal plants and migrant birds.
