Open all year during reasonable daylight hours; no admission charge. The monument stands on private property within a small estate of houses and is accessible on foot only. Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 1, accessible: a flat paved path leads to the small hedged plot, which may be slippery or muddy; do not climb on the stones. No toilets at the site; public toilets at the Long Street car park. Drones are not permitted.
Dogs: Dogs on short leads are welcome at the tomb, an open plot at ground level. The small grassed plot is the whole visit and is open to dogs on a short lead; the site is free. The national park's Newport Millennium Trail past the tomb asks for dogs under close control.
