Croome

Croome is a Georgian mansion whose landscape was the first major commission for the young Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, and whose interiors were designed by Robert Adam. The wartime story of RAF Defford, a secret radar research base on the estate, adds another dimension to the property. The restored parkland features a lake, church, grotto, and panoramic hilltop viewpoint.
