Fyne Court is a nature reserve and garden in the Quantock Hills, once the estate of Andrew Crosse, the Victorian gentleman scientist known as the 'thunder and lightning man' for his electrical experiments. The house was destroyed by fire in 1894, but the grounds survive with specimen trees, a walled garden and woodland walks. The estate now serves as a base for exploring the Quantock Hills, England's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
