Lavenham Guildhall

Lavenham Guildhall is a stunning timber-framed Tudor building dating from the 1520s, originally the meeting hall of the Guild of Corpus Christi. The building has served as a town hall, prison, workhouse, and almshouse over the centuries. Today it houses exhibitions on local history, the medieval wool trade, and farming, set in one of England's best-preserved medieval villages.
