Uppark House and Garden

Uppark is an elegant 17th-century house set high on the South Downs with panoramic views to the Solent. Meticulously restored after a devastating fire in 1989, the house showcases Georgian interiors, a renowned doll's house collection, and fine paintings. H.G. Wells spent part of his childhood here when his mother was housekeeper.
