Woolbeding Gardens are a series of enchanting garden rooms surrounding an Elizabethan manor house in the South Downs. The gardens blend formal design with wild planting to dramatic effect, featuring a modern parterre, a riverside walk along the River Rother, and the spectacular Tulip Folly designed by Julian and Isabel Bannerman. Pre-booking is required as the gardens open only on selected days, and visitors arrive via a shuttle bus to preserve the tranquil atmosphere.
