Avebury Manor is a Grade I listed house that has been remodelled through five centuries of occupation, from its Tudor origins through Queen Anne, Georgian and early 20th-century transformations. Following a BBC television collaboration, the rooms have been furnished to represent different periods, with visitors encouraged to sit on chairs and touch objects. The manor sits within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Avebury stone circle, the largest in Europe.
