Castle Drogo

Castle Drogo is the last castle to be built in England, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and constructed between 1911 and 1930 high above the Teign Gorge on Dartmoor. The granite castle combines medieval grandeur with 20th-century comforts and has undergone a major conservation project. The garden features a formal parterre, circular croquet lawn and rose garden, with dramatic walks through the gorge below.
