Dalton Castle is a 14th-century pele tower in the centre of Dalton-in-Furness, once the administrative seat of the Abbot of Furness Abbey. The three-storey tower was used as a courthouse and prison and now houses a small local history museum. It stands in the town's main square and is open on a limited seasonal basis.
