Open 10am to 4pm all year, last admission 30 minutes before closing; closed 24, 25 and 26 December and 1 January. No admission charge. Cadw asks visitors to come within these hours for safety and may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 3, moderate: kissing gates and steps on the approach rule out wheelchairs, the field is muddy after rain and grazing animals may be about; the hut walls are unfenced, so take care on the uneven stone. Information boards on site. No toilets or facilities; the nearest are at Lligwy beach. Bike storage is available. Drones are not permitted.
