The Trust's page does not say how parking is charged.
Historic Scotland names no parking: the barn is 'in Foulden 4m south east of Chirnside on the A6105'. The barn fronts straight onto the main road, so park in the small car park by Foulden Village Hall, about 400 m to the west, and walk back along the road with care. No official source states a charge or free parking, so the status is recorded as unknown.
Driving pin: the village car park. Historic Scotland gives journey planners only.
Beside Foulden and Mordington Parish Church on the A6105, 4 miles south-east of Chirnside and close to the English border, stands a handsome two-storey barn. It is identified as a tithe, or teind, barn, built to store the tenth of farm produce that parishioners owed the church, because it stands next to the kirk. Its date is unknown, but HES says it is certainly not medieval and is a good example of later vernacular building; remains east of it may be those of a medieval predecessor. Look for the carved scrolls at the foot of both gables, the stone forestair climbing to the upper floor and the arched openings at first-floor level. The roof is slated differently on each side, with sarking boards on the north and battens on the south, a mix that reflects Foulden's place between the building traditions of Scotland and England. The barn is seen from outside. Park by the village hall and walk about 400 m along the road.
Historic Scotland: 'Foulden Tithe Barn is free to visit and open year-round. Access to exterior only.' The barn is kept locked; its gable, forestair and roof are seen from the roadside and from the neighbouring churchyard.
The barn stands at the gate of Foulden and Mordington Parish Church, a working church not in Historic Scotland's care. No toilets or other facilities.
