Keld Chapel

Keld Chapel is a tiny pre-Reformation chapel tucked away in the hamlet of Keld near Shap. Dating from the early 16th century, it is one of very few surviving buildings of its kind in the region. The simple stone building has been sensitively maintained and is freely accessible to visitors year-round.
